THE LONE RANGER TV SERIES FULL COLOR OPENING

This clip shows the opening to the "Lone Ranger" TV series as it appeared when the show aired in color. This version of the opening includes the Lone Ranger's ride down into the Iverson Gorge after he leaves Lone Ranger Rock. This iconic western TV series starred Clayton Moore as The Lone Ranger, and Jay Silverheels as his faithful companion Tonto. The show ran for 5 seasons (221 episodes) from 1949-1957.
